MONKEY POX VIRUS: CAUSES $ CURE
Monkeypox is a rare disease that occurs primarily in remote parts of Central and West Africa, near tropical rainforests. It's transmitted to people from various wild animals.
Monkeypox is usually transmitted to humans from rodents ,pets,and primatesthrough contact with the animal's blood or through a bite.
The Consumption of this Animal can play a major role in the transmission of the disease.
In 2003 there was an outbreak of this Disease in The United States of America among people with pets.
SYMPTOMS OF MONKEY POX
1. Muscle Pain
2. Swellings of the Lymph nodes
3. Headache
4. Fever
5. Emergence of Rash
Recently, there has been An outbreak of Monkey POX in Nigeria Mostly in the Southeastern Part of the Country
PREVENTION AND TREATMENT
There is NO specific treatment for Monkey POX, but it's well known that the Small Pox Vaccination has helped to Reduce the occurrence of Monkey POX disease
IT can therefore be Prevented by:
1. Any Animal Infected should be Isolated or quarantined
2. Enlightenment of People on Causes and Prevention of Monkey Pox disease
3. Gloves and protective sheild should be worn when taking care of infected Patient.
4. Stop The consumption of Bush meats
